Welcome to Prime Lens Podcast, Darlington’s newest premium podcast studio.
Tucked inside the Innovation Central building, we are just a 5-minute walk from Darlington train station, with free on-site parking available for all clients.
The studio is fully optimized for high-end video, featuring professional acoustics, studio lighting, and three 4K Sony FX cinema cameras. Your session is captured with pristine clarity, using Hollywood-grade audio processing to deliver clean, broadcast-ready sound.
Our comfortable studio set accommodates up to three speakers, and you can easily bring your own props and branding to make the space completely your own.

Our Services

Ideal for recording 1 or 2 quick podcasts. Starting between 10am and midday, you will receive a fully edited podcast along with 2 clips for use on your favourite social media services.

Got more to talk about? Book a half day in our studio, starting at 10am. Along with your finished podcast episodes, you will receive up to 4 clips for social media use.

Book a full day and record a months worth of content. In addition to your fully edited episodes, you will receive up to 10 clips for social media.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

Please bring any props for decorating the studio to add your own personal touch. If you have any logos, graphics or music which you would like to use, please bring these on a portable storage device.

We advise arriving 10–15 minutes before your slot begins. This allows you time to settle in, grab a hot drink, and run through a quick tech check without eating into your recording time.

Yes, parking is available onsite at Innovation Central. Just buzz through to reception, mention our name, and they will let you in. The studio is a short walk from Darlington train station and is fully accessible with lifts and disabled toilets.

Our standard studio setup comfortably accommodates up to 3 people on-mic. If you plan to have 4 people in-studio, please reach out to us ahead of time so we can configure the setup accordingly.

Yes, but please get in touch with us in advance if you plan to connect a remote guest. This allows us to make all of the necessary tech checks before you arrive so we can seamlessly intergrate your guest.

Within 48 hours of your session, you will receive a digital delivery link (or direct handover) of your finished podcast, along with any short clips requested for social media.

Our standard operating hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

To keep studio schedules running smoothly, sessions have designated start times:
2-Hour Session: Start times are available between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM (Noon).
4-Hour Half-Day Session: Slots begin at 10:00 AM.
8-Hour Full-Day Session: Slots begin at 10:00 AM.

Yes. If you need to record during evenings or weekends, please get in touch with us directly. Out-of-hours bookings carry a 25% surcharge on top of standard rates.

All bookings require full payment upfront to secure and confirm your scheduled studio slot.

You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 24 hours before your start time with no penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session start time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
